SMS Privacy Policy
This SMS Privacy Policy explains how Ablepro, Inc. d/b/a AblePro Portal App (“AblePro Portal App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our optional SMS messaging program. It supplements, and does not replace, our Privacy Policy and our SMS Terms and Conditions.
1. Information we collect for the SMS program
When you opt in to receive text messages, we collect your mobile telephone number, the account or client-portal identifier associated with that number, the date, time, and source of your consent, and the version of the consent language presented to you. We also keep a record of message delivery status and any opt-out or HELP requests you send.
2. How we use this information
We use SMS-related information to send the messages you consented to receive, honor opt-out and HELP requests, document and verify consent, troubleshoot delivery issues, prevent fraud or misuse, and comply with mobile-carrier and legal requirements applicable to text messaging.
3. How this information is shared
Mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent are not sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share SMS-related information only with mobile carriers and messaging infrastructure providers as needed to deliver messages, with service providers who help us operate the messaging program under contractual confidentiality obligations, and when required by law or legal process.
A business whose services you receive may supply or use information within AblePro Portal App to coordinate the underlying services, but your SMS consent is provided to AblePro Portal App and is not transferred to another business for its independent marketing.
4. Data retention
We retain consent records, opt-out requests, and related messaging data for as long as reasonably necessary to document compliance with SMS consent requirements, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal, carrier, or regulatory recordkeeping obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
5. Your choices
Participation in the SMS program is voluntary. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message. After opting out, you may receive one confirmation message and will not receive further messages under this program unless you provide new consent. For help, reply HELP or use our contact form.
6. Children’s privacy
The SMS program is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly enroll children under 13 in the messaging program.
7. Changes to this SMS Privacy Policy
We may update this SMS Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the program, our practices, or applicable requirements. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide any additional notice or obtain new consent when required by law.
